Tailgate Talk #5: Honoring 250 Years of America

As Walworth County Board Chair, it’s been a distinct honor to present official 250th Anniversary flags and proclamations to our local school's, towns, villages, and cities. Celebrating this historic milestone takes me right back to my own deep roots here, starting in North Cape.

​I was blessed to attend North Cape Grade School during America's Bicentennial in 1976. As kids, we were given the responsibility to raise, lower, and fold the American flag. It was a massive honor for us back then, and it shaped my respect for our country early on.

​Now, looking ahead to the Semiquincentennial, I’m proud to bring that same lifelong patriotism and proven leadership to the race for State Assembly!
